About Me (Personal)As of the Fall of 2008, I am an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
I was born in northeastern Tennessee in 1976, and grew up in Houston. I took my undergraduate degree (in philosophy) from the College of the University of Chicago (AB '98). I matriculated at Cornell in the fall of 1999 and received the PhD in August 2005. From 2005 to 2008 I taught in the Philosophy Department at the University of Tennessee.
A few representative interests apart from philosophy: classical keyboard (esp. Bach), English Renaissance poetry (esp. Donne), Russian Literature (esp. Dostoevsky), philosophical theology, and baseball (the Astros) |
